Here is the OFFICIAL M.L. (My Life) “Rockstar Sushi” Music Video Directed by myself. This video was a lot of fun to shoot. M.L. flew down to Miami for a few days so we could get this shot. We filmed all over Miami including: A Condo in Miami Beach, a boat in the Biscayne bay, Studio shots, Ocean Drive, and other random areas around South Beach. M.L. was cool to work with because he knows exactly what he wants and we collaborated very well together to create this Music Video. You can follow M.L. on twitter @ML4Sure & of course follow me @GaryDunkel. I hope you enjoy the Music Video! Leave me comments and let me know what you think!

This past tuesday I got to go to the launch of Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy Jet Tour at the Mondrian Hotel in South Beach! Canon Rebel T2i

How crazy is it that DSLR’s can record full 1080p High Definition Video these days? The best part about it is that you have the option of using different lenses to create beautiful looking depth of field (background out of focus) which really makes your videos look like film! So once I found out about this technology I knew I had to get one. I’ve always liked photography but never thought I would end up doing it on a professional level. I was always all about video but these days I’m about both! I really love photography now. I have a Canon Rebel T2i HDSLR with an 18-55mm lens and a 55-250mm lens! If you’re just starting out in photography like myself the Canon Rebel T2i is a great camera. It’s fairly easy to use but you might wanna watch a few youtube videos on photography to understand the basics. I’m picking up on photography pretty quickly because of my background with video. I’ve photographed many random spots around South Beach and Downtown Miami and I just did my first photo shoot with a father and a son! I’m heading to New York City next week to capture some amazing photos which I’ll post up when I return! I will also be using this camera to shoot HD Music Videos that will look like they were shot on a $100,000 film camera! We used two HDSLR’s to shoot my last film “Tech Support” on and it came out amazing! It’s really hard to tell the difference between HDSLR footage and 35mm film footage when looking at the image! If you’re looking to have pictures taken or shoot a Music Video you can view examples of my work on my website @ www.GaryDunkel.com and contact me when you’re ready!

“The King of Cool” on South Beach!

December 29, 2010 | Posted in Uncategorized | By

Tonight was incredible! My friends and I went down to South Beach to see my favorite comedian, Louis CK at the Fillmore at the Jackie Gleason Theater. The show was amazing of course because Louie is the man! So after the show we decided to swing by our favorite South Beach spot at Pizza Rustica on Washington and 9th Ave. We got our pizza and sat at tables outside on the sidewalk and we notice this random drunk guy sitting at the table next to us. So we’re eating and after a few minutes this guy gets up and comes over to us asking “can I talk to you guys for 10 seconds?” We say okay and he goes on a rant about how he’s the “King of Cool” & the “King of Bisexuals” …. as he hits on my friend Jordan, who is also my co-writer of “:Prefer Not To Say!” Watch the video, it’s hilarious I promise you won’t regret it!
